Ancient and Modern Athens is a 2 maps set showing for the first time information such as the topography of ancient Athens, the course of the rivers Ilissos and Eridanos and the evolution of the ancient fortifications. Important monuments and buildings are marked per period, from the Classical Antiquity to Modernity. 3D drawings of the most important ones allow a better understanding of the structures. Their history and impact to the city are further explicited by short texts on the back side of the map. Also included plans of the Agora, Acropolis and National Garden.
